The apartments are situated in a beautiful rural location 10km from Lagos, 1.5km from Burgau and 500m to the beach. The local beach is a 5 minute walk away with Burgau beach a 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive.  Burgau has a number of fine restaurants and friendly bars. Burgau also has local shops and there are larger supermarkets nearby.

East of Burgau is the lively tourist village of Luz with pubs, bars and restaurants.  5km further East of Luz is the town of Lagos. Lagos boasts 9 beautiful beaches and is without doubt one of the main attractions to the town. From the long sweeping golden sands of Meia Praia to the coved seclusion of Praia do Camilo the range is vast. Further East of Lagos is the village of Alvor and the town of Portimão. Go north from Portimão to the Monchique mountains for excellent lunch restaurants with spectacular views.

Heading away from Burgau in a westerly direction is the fishing village of Salema. Most restaurants here serve fresh fish caught locally. Further out west are many excellent beaches and bars all the way to Sagres. Cape St Vincent is furthest point west. North of Cape St Vincent is the west coast of the Algarve boasting many spectacular beaches with big waves. Popular with surfers.
